It’s that time again – time for our annual fall plant presale! Isn’t it so fun to get a jump start on planning your next garden and thinking about how you can feed you family nutrient dense foods right from your own property?
This year we’re doing something SUPER exciting that we’ve never done before! We still have our usual honeyberries and saskatoons, and strawberries but we’ve also added several new plants — even some perennial vegetables! We’re passionate about helping Alaskans grow their own food and this is a huge leap in that direction! We’ve added a new variety of strawberries, red and yellow raspberries, gooseberries, asparagus, caucasian mountain spinach, lovage and more! These popular little gems will keep you in berries all summer long!
Seascape has proven itself to be a producer of very large berries that are flavorful and super sweet. We plant these yearly as an annual because they regularly deliver big, sweet, juicy berries the first year, and they produce from July through freeze up. Although they rarely survive the winter, we really don’t mind replanting yearly in order to have amazing, sweet, juicy, and really big berries consistently year after year. They are excellent in beds or containers.
These come in bunches of 25 plants, and they will produce beautiful berries from mid-summer well into fall.
Pickup at the farm in May. An email will go out to everyone early spring with pickup instructions.
