ALASKA BEEKEEPING: This 5-hour masterclass is for anyone new to keeping bees in Alaska or who needs a refresher in beekeeping. In this course, you will learn the basics of beekeeping specific to Alaska, including breeds, equipment, care, and harvest.

ALASKA GREENHOUSE GARDENING SUCCESS: Do you have a greenhouse that you feel like you aren’t quite utilizing to its full extent? Or are you considering building a greenhouse but aren’t sure where to start? Larry Harris of Matanuska Gardens is a longtime greenhouse gardener. He’s full of wisdom in all things having to do with growing in a greenhouse including tips and tricks to keep the costs down from building to watering to cooling.

GROW YOUR OWN APOTHECARY: Learn Alaska-friendly herbs that you can grow at home and the best ways to use them. 

INTRO TO PERMACULTURE – ALASKA REGENERATIVE FARM/GARDEN: Learn soil regeneration tactics that work in Alaska! You will also learn about soil regeneration, including how to improve your soil naturally, using methods that truly work in Alaska!

POULTRY 101: If you’re considering raising poultry either for meat or eggs, this is the class for you! In this class, each participant will learn about raising different poultry varieties, including chickens, geese, ducks, and turkeys, for eggs or meat production. Whether you want to raise a few for your family or start a small-scale operation, this is the class for you!

SEED STARTING & GARDENING 101: In this prerecorded class, you will learn all about growing a successful garden in Alaska from seed to harvest. You will also learn many valuable tips about seed starting, hardening off, growing your garden, and harvesting tips for a successful Alaska garden!
