LADY HOMESTEADERS OF ALASKA – Are you ready to build a community where we can learn and grow together?

You are invited to join the Lady Homesteaders of Alaska community – and I can’t wait for you to join us!

You are likely asking, “What do I get for joining this community?”

SUCH a great question. First, you get a community of women who are very like-minded to talk about, ask questions of, learn from, and just fellowship with! We all want to learn traditional skills, utilize all that Alaska has to offer responsibly, and create the best, most natural life for ourselves and our families!

That right there is a pretty awesome perk.

But wait … there’s more!

Here is a full description:

Everyone wants to know the cost up front – I do, too! You can pay for a yearly subscription which is $350/year. That includes everything below PLUS you get one free ticket to the Alaska Homestead Expo. If you choose to pay monthly, that cost is $30/month.

Also, the full year subscription is for 12 months so it will renew next March. 🙂

➡️ Monthly IN-PERSON class on a homestead subject. These classes will take place on Saturdays on the farm (unless otherwise noted) and there will typically be two times to choose from so hopefully you can make it work with your schedule.

➡️ Bookclub: We are currently in Nourishing Traditions. However, as a head’s up – we will soon be switching to The Independent Farmstead by Shawn and Beth Dougherty. It’s one of the best self-reliance books I’ve read as a starter book.

➡️ Themed discussion in the Facebook group encouraging members to dig deeper into the how and why of living the homestead lifestyle.

➡️ FREE Facebook group where we can interact, share, learn, and enjoy fellowship

➡️ Weekly devotional

➡️ FULL Access to ALL Alaska Homestead Academy Classes for as long as your membership is active. These classes include each new monthly class that is uploaded. These classes currently include gardening in Alaska, Poultry 101, Beekeeping in Alaska, Permaculture, Greenhouse gardening, herbalism, and more! We will be adding the Canning Masterclass and the Sourdough Masterclass early fall. You will have access to the FULL library, even new classes that are added – for as long as you are an active member.

➡️ Full members also get farm updates for picking and other farm events first! This means you get to pick your day/time for picking before anyone else ensuring you’ll have an opportunity to fill your freezer and pantry with nutrient rich, local fruits and berries!
