We’re ready to open for round 2 of apple picking because there are a few apples left on the trees!

There are several details to this so please read carefully before you reserve a spot. There are only 20 spots available.

This u-pick will be FRIDAY September 8 from 4-6 pm. I know it’s late notice and I know it’s a weekday. Fruit is ready when it’s ready and there isn’t a lot we can do about that. Plus the wind is starting to knock them off of the trees so they need to be picked sooner than later.

SUPER IMPORTANT: We use Square as our payment processor which is down worldwide so we can only accept cash. PLEASE BRING CASH – we will have some change for you so you don’t have to bring exact change.

**** Also, we are not charging the usual $10 deposit for the same reason. HOWEVER, YOU DO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE CHECKOUT PROCESS TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT so we can track the numbers. 🙂

PLEASE ONLY RESERVE ONE SPOT PER PARTY/FAMILY – NOT ONE PER PERSON. If you are coming as a group or family, that is only ONE reservation.

We have fewer apples available than last year. The cold fall last year and cold spring this year hurt both our blossom and pollination rate. However, the apples that are on the trees are sweeter than I remember them being and some of the norlands are really big! ((for norlands))

Please bring containers to take your apples home in.

PRICE: $3.50/lb

No, we don’t spray a thing on our apples.

Please leave your dogs at home.

Please wear proper footwear. The ground is sloped and uneven and it can be slick when it gets wet.

We love kids and we believe it’s important to raise generations who know where their food is coming from. However, if they can’t follow the rules of the orchard, they will be asked to sit in the car. Actually, same goes for unruly adults. ((grin))
