YAMBU STRAWBERRIES: 2024 Fall Plant Presale
Original price was: $30.00.$25.00Current price is: $25.00.
It’s that time again – time for our annual fall plant presale! Isn’t it so fun to get a jump start on planning your next garden and thinking about how you can feed you family nutrient dense foods right from your own property?
These Yambu strawberries were so popular last year – we couldn’t keep up! They got more compliments even than Seascape, they were super hardy and productive – even with all the rain AND they have the best flavor of any strawberry we’ve grown here! If you love strawberries, you don’t want to miss out on Yambu!
Why should you participate in our annual presale and not just wait to get your plants in the spring? I’m so glad you asked!
- Secure your plants so you don’t have to worry about missing out.
- We actually purchase most of the plants (everything except the bare root plants and the blueberries) and winter them over here so they’ve spent an entire winter in Alaska before being sold. This ensures hardiness for the plants – which gives us all a good confidence that the plants will thrive here!
- Support our small farm as we expand and do more to provide food and resources for the community.
But first … YAMBU! 25 bareroot plants for only $25 (until the presale is over – then they will be $30)
A little more about Yambu – the mother of Yambu is Honeoye and it is reported to have the same hardiness as the honeoye. However, the Yambu is definitely sweeter and bigger than honeoye – plus it tends to stand up away from the ground so it rain doesn’t bother it as much as most.
These come in bunches of 25 plants, and they will produce beautiful berries from mid-summer well into fall.
Pickup is at the farm May 9-11 where we will have an open house and have even more plants for sale including our hardy apple and plum trees and more! And we usually have something extra for moms since it’s Mother’s Day Weekend.
