CHERRIES – 2lb Bags – Organic, Regenerative
$12.00
Okay folks, we’ve been given an amazing opportunity! We have access to some absolutely amazing, organically grown, regenerative farm raised fruit this summer at an incredible price.
And we’re passing the savings on to you!
Coming up this summer:
Cherries
Plums
Nectarines
Peaches
Apricots
Apples
Pears
Winter Squash
PICKUP WILL BE ON THE FARM FOR ALL OF THE PRODUCE. Read below for pickup information specific to this order.
Remember, these are all grown on an organic, regenerative farm – this is not conventional fruit. No chemicals, nothing harmful added.
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.
Up this week, we have cherries. ONE BAG = 2 LBS – Cherries are $6/lb and come in 2# bags.
Choose from Bing or Rainier. They are available in 2# bags so quantity one equals two pounds.
PICKUP INFO: Pickup will be on the farm Tuesday July 14 from 4-8 pm and again Wednesday July 15 from 10 am – 6 pm. This is fresh fruit. We don’t have refrigeration for this quantity so the sooner you pickup the better. If you can’t pick your order by Wednesday at 6 pm and have not made different arrangements, you forfeit your order and will not get a refund. (Seriously, just communicate and we’ll work things out!)
Bing cherries are the sweet, red cherries
Rainier are the big, sweet yellow with a pink blush
What would you use these cherries for? Believe it or not, you can make a sweet cherry pie – and can for filling. You can also can the cherries alone in a simple syrup. You can pit them and freeze them and save them for smoothies and baking all winter. The options are endless!
TWO THINGS TO NOTE:
- You are buying these at your own risk. We did a trial run and they came through beautifully but I can’t promise that to always be the case because Alaska shipping is …. well, it’s Alaska shipping. However, we’ve been doing this for a couple of years and we’ve had very few issues. Plus, our system has changed and we’re picking closer to the sail date – and we are with a shipping company that guarantees the chill temp – but fruit can be a bit volatile. We cannot offer refunds for fruit that doesn’t arrive in good condition – we have to pay for it either way and we are keeping the price as low as we possibly can. Issues are rare but they do happen.
– We cannot hold your produce – we don’t have refrigeration. Please plan to pick up your produce as early as you can on the pickup days/times.
We are so excited and honored to be able to offer these amazing prices to our customers – especially for good, organic, regenerative food! More to come!
