WINTER’S STORE – An Interactive Alaska Homestead Class
January 22, 2023 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM $40.00
We are very excited to invite you to the kickoff class for the Sustainable Alaska Homestead Series:
WINTER’S STORE: An interactive class to help you create a personalized plan to fill your pantry with food you’ve grown or sourced locally in 2023. The class takes place on Sunday, January 22, from 2-4 pm.
Attend IN PERSON or via LIVE FEED. You will receive an email with instructions to attend online or in person before the event.
In this interactive Alaska homestead class, each participant will learn how to create their own system to ensure they can feed their family locally and sustainably, AFFORDABLY!
This class will be taught by Tandy Hogate, lifelong homesteader and food preservationist, and has options to attend online or in person.
In this class we will discuss:
- Canning
- Fermenting
- Raising your own meat
- Gardening
- Foraging
- Bartering
- … and so much more
Although this isn’t a masterclass on any of the above subjects, we will use information on each of these concepts to help you formulate a personalized plan to increase your ability to eat locally and sustainably – while staying on budget!
Imagine going to the grocery store as little as once per month, or even less! You CAN do that, and I’m REALLY excited to help you figure out exactly how!
Let’s figure out how to fill your pantry and freezers with food you’ve grown or obtained locally this summer and fall so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor all winter!
