2026 SPRING ALASKA HOMESTEAD EXPO

We’re excited to announce that the 2026 Alaska Homestead Expo is in the works – and it’s going to be incredible!

Every year it just keeps getting better – and this year is sure to keep with this tradition!

Wanna know who the keynote speakers are?

None other than Josh & Carolyn Thomas of Homesteading Family and School of Traditional Skills!

The Expo will be held over Memorial Weekend, 2026. May 23-25, 2026.

Tickets are on presale for the expo at a super discounted price – reserve your spot soon! There is no kids program this year so tickets are needed for anyone over two years old. However, we still have tons of fun stuff planned for kids – but it will be done family-style. We will have one tent dedicated to family learning so, as a family you might learn square dancing, clogging, or any number of other fun things you will enjoy learning as a family.

Here is the tentative schedule although this is very much subject to some changes.

Saturday, May 23

Vendor hall – open to ticket holders only from 9-10 am. 10 am – 4 pm open to the public ($5 if you don’t already have an expo ticket).

Evening – a talk with the Thomas’s.

Sunday, May 24 

10 am – noon – Church service with bluegrass band including Memorial Day tribute

Noon – 2 pm – potluck lunch

Classes from 2-6 pm

Monday, May 25

Classes from 9 am – 5 pm (at least 5 classes to choose from every hour).
